14 January 2026

The alliances will work closely with the Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery to progress detailed design and early development activities, supporting the delivery of modern, high‑quality healthcare facilities for Western Australians.

Royal Perth Hospital emergency department

Lendlease Construction Pty Limited has been selected as the alliance partner for Royal Perth Hospital's new purpose-built six-storey building. The development will include two dedicated emergency care floors, expanded ambulance bays and additional clinical spaces to meet growing demand and support future healthcare needs.

New hospital for Mandurah and Peel region

A joint venture between Built Pty Limited and Sacyr Construction Australia Pty Limited will lead the development of the new hospital adjacent to the existing Peel Health Campus. The project will deliver contemporary facilities and enhanced services for the Peel community.

Both alliances will now move into the design and development phase, including detailed planning, site investigations and early works. Project Alliance Agreements will be awarded, with construction expected to commence in mid-2026.

This milestone represents an important step forward in Western Australia’s health infrastructure program, supporting the delivery of patient-focused facilities for communities now and into the future.
