The Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery (OMID) is delivering some of Western Australia’s most significant regional health infrastructure projects, working in partnership with the Department of Health and WA Country Health Service.
This program reflects the State Government’s commitment to ensuring all Western Australians, no matter where they live, can access safe, modern, high-quality health care close to home.
Recent regional investments, including major redevelopments such as the Geraldton Health Campus, form part of a broader program aimed at expanding emergency capacity, improving specialist services and reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for essential care.
These projects modernise ageing facilities, increase emergency and critical care capability and bring vital services closer to local communities.
